Rainy day’s

Dear people,

Sorry to leave you so long without any reports. Past week hasn’t been so interesting for you I think. Just getting over the Chinese New year blues. Getting some decent training at the center, doing some filming of hard tricks, getting through the rain back home again and going for some food. Watching some Dutch television over the net, so glad I can see DWDD every evening, a Dutch show about actualities. Feels just like home!

Much rain lately, since Chinese New Year the weather has been very rainy and gray. Tomorrow might be better, wouldn’t mind to see some sun. The last week of my stay has come and on the 23rd and 24th I have planned a two day trip along the coast line of Taiwan. Looking forward very much to spend the last days here in beautiful nature! Before that there is some more lovely training.

Yesterday I did for my first time a full diabolo head roll from on side of the head to the other side! I have been practicing this stuff a little bit for a longer time now and it feels so good eventually getting it. I don’t think anyone else have done that before and I’m pretty proud of it! I’m motivated to work on it very hard and make it solid. Today I did more than one hour of 3 diabolo behind the back (high), just another trick far away from solid. Damn that is such a hard pattern but I love it when it works! Just the amount of work goes into it is incredible. I think Tony does them with ease, that guy is such a hard worker!

This morning I woke up crazy early, something like 5 am. Couldn’t sleep anymore, I went to bed very early so I guess that was all the rest I needed. So I got up, had some breakfast and just did some diabolo! I love that freedom, just getting up and do whatever you like whenever. Created a nice little experimental sequence! After that I went to take a shower and got some breakfast again, this time a hamburger in the breakfast store nearby. Fast food at 9 AM? Owww yeahhh! After that I went for training. Had a pretty decent session from 10 until 1, almost landed my first clean 4 up 360! Was able to flash after but then something hit something else. Then we got some lunch, Angela had prepared some very nice food for us. And after I didn’t really train anymore. Just shooting some video material of the boys, goofing around and taking a break.

That last week has come, the rain went and it’s looking to be a promising last week! Good weather, nice things to do and eventually finally back home again. I’m going to miss this little paradise! Stay tuned for my last adventures in Taiwan.
